We are pleased to announce the availability of two Frans Claas Travel Awards, each valued at €1000, to support early-career researchers attending the 2nd annual SIP Symposium. The awards are offered by the TxMiller Foundation.

These awards honor Professor Frans Claas, one of the most influential transplant immunologists and histocompatibility experts of his time.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a PhD student or Junior Postdoctoral researcher.

• Submit an abstract for the SIP Symposium.

• Provide a statement of support (max. 300 words) from their supervisor.

How to Apply

Please submit your symposium abstract and supervisor’s statement to office@sip-sassenheim.org with “Frans Claas Travel Award Application” in the subject line. Applications must be submitted by August 15, the same deadline as the abstract submission.

The Scientific Committee will review both the abstract and the supervisor’s letter when selecting the two award recipients. Travel awardees will be announced along with the general abstract selection results.
